Dr. Mesbahi is a board certified plastic surgeon, certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Mesbahi specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body and also performs state of the art cancer reconstruction. He is a graduate of The George Washington University School of Medicine, where he was one of fifteen students selected for early admission as an undergrad. He went on to complete a six year residency at what is considered one of the country’s top plastic surgery training programs, Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Mesbahi is known as one of Washington’s top rhinoplasty surgeons and prides himself on achieving beautiful and natural looking results. He has been listed as “Outstanding Plastic Surgeons of DC” and “Top Plastic Surgeons” in Cosmopolitan Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine. He has written numerous peer reviewed journal articles and co –authored multiple chapters in major Plastic Surgery textbooks

Dr. Piccolo is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who strives to provide excellent and personalized care to each and every patient, making the consultation, perioperative and postoperative care as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dr. Piccolo’s and his team of professional’s main objective is to understand what is the patient’s goal and work together to achieve it.

Dr. Piccolo is a graduate of the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. After completing his residency and serving as a Chief Resident during his last year, he went to University of Pennsylvania for the acclaimed Microsurgery Fellowship under masters of the trade.

Dr. Piccolo now joins the distinguished National Center for Plastic Surgery, and together with renowned, world class surgeons, work together with the highest standard of excellence in providing personalized first class care to our patients.

Growing up in Brazil and having traveled and lived around the world gives Dr. Piccolo a broad understanding of cultural and regional diversity. Speaking multiple languages helps him recognize and appreciate the true meaning in the patient’s wishes, without being lost in translation. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.

Dr. Venturi is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose goal is to deliver the highest level of patient care to both his aesthetic and reconstructive patients. He believes in an individualized approach to each patient in order to attain outstanding results. His personal diligence and compassion distinguish him from other plastic surgeons as does his high level of training.

Dr. Venturi offers a unique combination of skills to his cosmetic and reconstructive patients. Dr. Venturi mastered the latest techniques in breast reconstruction and other cancer restorative surgeries. The vast skill set that Dr. Venturi has acquired through intense training at premier academic institutions such as Georgetown and MD Anderson is evident in his ability to perform both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery with artistic finesse.

Since 1995, Dr. Nahabedian has focused on all aspects of breast surgery and he has performed over 4,000 primary breast reconstructions using autologous, prosthetic and oncoplastic techniques. He was one of the early adopters of the perforator flaps for breast reconstruction that includes the DIEP and SGAP flaps that he has performed regularly since 1999. He was a pioneer using acellular dermal matrices for prosthetic reconstruction that has been instrumental in improving aesthetic outcomes. He has pioneered several oncoplastic techniques for women that are candidates for breast conservation therapy. Dr. Nahabedian also performs aesthetic breast procedures that include augmentation, reduction mammaplasty, mastopexy, and complex revisions on a regular basis. Dr. Nahabedian believes that there is no substitute for individualized care and treatment. Many of his former and current patients have made themselves available to his new patients as a means of facilitating the process from being a cancer victim to a cancer survivor.

Dr. Nahabedian completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine in 1992 and his Plastic Surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1995. He was a member of the full-time plastic surgery faculty at Johns Hopkins University until 2005 and then a member of the full-time faculty at Georgetown University until 2017 where he was a Professor and the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery. He has been at the National Center for Plastic Surgery since 2017. Dr. Nahabedian has authored over 225 scientific manuscripts, edited 10 textbooks in Plastic Surgery, chaired over 20 national and international conferences and has been invited as a visiting professor at over 110 prestigious institutions around the world. Dr. Nahabedian is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
